We saw this hotel on another family travel blog and I always like to stay somewhere that others have been and personally recommended. The Loft was perfect for our stay, just outside the old town with lots of extras and a great restaurant.

The hotel:
The hotel is laid out over 6 floors with a mixture of comfort, premium and premium family rooms. We stayed in a premium room which was perfect for the 3 of us with a large double bed and a single sofa bed for Pip which was really sturdy and comfortable for a sofa bed. Our room was one of the corner rooms so was slightly larger and had plenty of space for us all.
The 5th and 6th floor are the premium rooms and there is a wine machine in the corridor as well as a small tray of snacks to help yourself to. The wine machine dispenses 100ml of wine at a time payable using a card that you can get from reception. The card is preloaded with 8€ of free credit and then everything else is billed to your room.
Downstairs there is a coffee and wine bar with outside seating and also Fabrika the Beer Pub with a delicious menu.
The Loft Hotel is also shares reception space with Wilson Palace which has slightly larger rooms and suites.
Our premium room had masses of wardrobe space with hanging and shelving space, a safe, iron and ironing board and a small fridge which contained the complimentary mini bar that was refilled everyday. The mini bar contained bottles of Pepsi, still and sparkling water, lager and tonic. We also had a coffee machine and tea making facilities.
The bathroom had a large walk in shower and a selection of toiletries.

Reception staff and bar staff were super helpful and all spoke excellent English. We arrived a little too early for our check in and they sorted out looking after our luggage in their left luggage room and directions to the places we wanted to see. They were also really helpful when we needed a plaster for Pip.

The food:
Breakfast: Breakfast is served buffet style in the Fabrika pub. There was a good selection of continental breakfast and cooked items, fresh juices and hot drinks. We were especially impressed by the very large cups which meant we could have an extra large cup of tea to get going in the morning.

Lunch and dinner:The Fabrika pub is open for lunch and dinner and has a varied menu with lots of choice. There were several different vegetarian options but I went for a side salad and mozzarella sticks, Andy and Pip chose burgers.

Around the hotel:
The hotel is in a quieter neighbourhood just behind the Presidential Palace. It’s about a 10-15 walk to the Old Town and about the same in the opposite direction to the train station. There are a couple of restaurants near the hotel and a small shop. The presidential gardens are just behind the hotel and open to the public.
Getting there:
We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel which took about 15 minutes and cost around 10€. We booked this using Bolt.
You can also get the bus from the airport to the train station and walk from there.
The hotel also offer a shuttle service from the airport for an extra fee although this is more expensive than a taxi.
Left Luggage:
The hotel has a left luggage room just off reception if you arrive before you can check in or have a later flight after checking out.
