Adventure Cove waterpark – Sentosa, Singapore

Adventure Cove waterpark is park of Resort World Sentosa on Sentosa island in Singapore. It’s a great size, big enough to have a range of slides and activities but small enough that you can get round everything in one day.

The Rides

Dueling Racer – grab a mat and race your friend to the bottom of this slide.

Inflatable rides – Riptide Rocket, Pipeline Plunge, Tidal Twister, Spiral Washout and Whirlpool Washout. These have varying degree of speed and thrills and are a mixture of 1 and 2 person rides.

Big Bucket treehouse – A play area for children with smaller slides and water play.

Adventure river – a lazy river with a few splashes.

Seahorse Hideaway – A splash pad for younger children.

Splashworks – A water based climbing area.

Wave Pool – Every 15 minutes or so the main pool becomes a wave pool.

There is also a Wet maze although this wasn’t open when we were there.

Sea life

Rainbow Reef – A snorkel tank with thousands of colourful fish (included in park price).

Dolphin Island – Dolphin Encounter (additional fee).

Ray Bay – Ray encounter (additional fee).

Shark Encounter – Meet the sharks (additional fee).

Seating areas

There are loungers by the wave pool which were very busy when we were there. There are also a couple of other seating areas tucked away around the park which were much quieter but don’t have a views of the pool or rides. There are also cabanas around the wave pool.

Express passes

Express passes are available as wristbands, these give you 2 uses at Rainbow Reef, 2 uses at Duelling Racer and 1 use at Riptide Rocket. Unless it is a really busy day or these are your favourite rides then it is probably not worth getting these.

Life jackets

Life jackets are provided around the park for free. They are sized from children’s XS to Adult XXL. These are at various stations around the park for you to help yourself to.

Food

The park has various snack stands selling cold drinks, hot dogs, wraps and chicken nuggets.

There is also the main dining area which sells and assortment of hot meals including fish and chips, sweet and sour chicken and pasta. The food here was really good and very plentiful and a nice change from fast food.

There is also an awesome candy floss machine that 3D prints your chosen candy floss design. There was always a queue for this, Pip taste tested it and can verify that it was delicious although you have to eat it quickly as it started melting it the warm weather.

Lockers

There are lockers at the entrance to the park next to the changing rooms and also at the back of the park near the wave pool. There is a charge for the lockers and you can go in and out of them as many times as you like throughout the day.

There are areas at each ride to leave your shoes while you are riding.

Changing rooms

There are men’s and women’s changing rooms at the entrance to the park although these were incredibly busy both when we arrived and when we left as the park was closing. There are also smaller toilets and changing areas at the back of the park including a children’s toilet with smaller toilets.

Towels

Towels are not provided so you will need to bring your own.

Shop

There is a small shop at the entrance to the park which sells a range of swim wear, equipment and toys so if you have forgotten anything then you should be able to get it there.

Tickets

Tickets can be booked on the Resort World Sentosa website. We have also seen tickets on offer and multi tickets so it’s worth shopping around to get the best price.

We visited in April 2023 when Pip was 10.
