Siam claims to be the world’s best water park and while we haven’t been to all of them to judge definitively, it’s definitely the best we have been to. We’d heard it was amazing but we’d also heard it was very busy, so we did our research and ended up having some of the best fun we have had!

The Park
The park is big and laid out with lots of walkways between rides, most of which are leafy and green which provided plenty of shade during the day. We did find it a little confusing getting around but the signs are pretty good and there are maps everywhere.
There are height and weight restrictions on all the big rides, although we never actually saw anyone being weighed or measured, so you will definitely get more out of the day if you have slightly older kids. We focused mainly on the bigger adrenaline rides but there are also smaller slides, splash areas, the lazy river, wave pool and Cocoa beach if prefer some a bit gentler.
The only ride that Pip couldn’t go on was the Tower of Power which has a minimum age of 12. The rides are labelled green, orange or red for level of intensity.
The park also has a central area with shops and food and there are also places to eat spread out throughout the park.
The Rides
The red, adrenaline rides are Kinnaree, Mekong Rapids, Singha, Tower of Power, Vulcano, Patong Rapids and the Dragon.
The orange, family rides are Naga Racer, Jawasdee, Jungle Snakes, The Lost City, Wave Palace, The Giant and Coco Beach.
The green, relax rides are Mai Thai River and Siam Beach, there is also the VIP Cabanas and Champagne Club if you are looking for something really relaxing.

Lockers
There are locker stations throughout the park, you are able to hire a small or large locker for the day. The lockers work with keys which you can wear around your wrist, both require a deposit of 5 and small lockers are €5 and large lockers €7. We had a large locker which was plenty big enough for the 3 of us and our belongings.
The locker stations also rent towels for €5, sell water shoes for €10 and sell fast passes.
Food
There are a couple of fast food places around the park selling burgers, fries and baguettes. We thought the selection of choice and snacks was pretty good. There were also drinks kiosks around the park and also the floating Markey selling snacks, drinks and crepes.
We stopped for food around 1pm and did wait a while for food so if you are trying to maximise your day then planning to eat earlier or later to avoid the busy periods would be better.
There was very little vegetarian choice as all the baguettes had meat in them and there were no vegetarian fast food options.

Fast Passes
Fast passes cost €28 per person and are only available to purchase in the park. They are sold for either the morning or the afternoon and are limited so do sell out. You can buy them from the locker stations.
We bought afternoon fast passes as soon as we arrived and were so glad we did as we wouldn’t have been able to have done all the rides without it. The fast passes are a wristband which gives you one ride on all the main slides except Tower of Power and one bonus which can be used on any slide. One of the rides was closed when we were there so we were also able to use this as an extra bonus ride. There is a separate queue for fast passes on each of the ride and the staff at the top will mark off your band as you ride.
Tickets
Tickets can be bought online or at the park and I would highly recommend getting them before you go so you can just scan in to the park and then get on with getting your locker and fast pass. The queue to buy tickets was very long we arrived.
We bought tickets through Get Your Guide but you can also buy them directly from the park website or at other online ticket sites. Through Get Your Guide we had downloaded the tickets to the app so we could just scan them as we entered the park.

Our Day
We arrived just before 9:15am and joined the much shorter queue for those with tickets. They started letting everyone in just after 9:15am. As you enter the queue splits in to 2 with both sides going through a photo point which only takes a couple of seconds, we skipped this and went straight to a locker station to get lockers and fast passes.
The rides open at 10am so we got in the queue for The Giant and were about 3rd in line. After that we rode Jungle Snakes, The Dragon and Vulcano which are all in the same place. We didn’t wait longer than 10 or 15 minutes for these rides but the queues were starting to get longer as the morning went on. As the park was starting to get really busy we decided to do the lazy river before lunch. The lazy river is a lovely float around the park, at the end you have the option to go right and finish the lazy river or left which takes you down the rapids. This part was really chaotic with a life guard in the water sending everyone right to keep things flowing and everyone trying to get left for the rapids. We ended up going round twice so that we could do the rapids.
We had lunch at Coco Beach and then it was time to use our fast passes, by this point the queues for the slides were very long, probably well over an hour but we managed to walk on to almost every ride and if we did have to wait, we only waited for 10-15 minutes. The kids decided that Singha and Kinnaree were their favourite rides so we did those as our bonuses. We then had time to ride the lazy river one more time although didn’t manage to do the rapids as the queue was too long.
Shopping
Anything you have forgotten you should be able to get in the park at the floating market, they sell all the essentials like rash vests, water shoes and sun creams. They also have snacks, ice creams and souvenirs and Pip treated herself to a very cute stingray.

Getting there
Our hotel was fairly close by so we got a taxi that cost us about €20 but we also saw transport advertised through the excursion companies and there is also a local bus which will drop you nearby. There is also a car park on site which costs €7 for the day.
Photos
There are several photo opportunities throughout the day when you arrived, on the lazy river and with the park mascot. These are printed out and available to purchase on your way out for €8 each.
Top Tips
- Buy your tickets online before you go.
- Get there early.
- If you are going during peak times then get fast passes.
- If you want to do slides all day then afternoon fast passes will work better, if you want to relax in the afternoon then morning fast passes will allow you to get all the slides done first.
- Water shoes are a great idea as the floor can get very hot in places and they can also be worn on the rides.
- Go Pros and phones can be taken on the slides so make sure you have a good waterproof case or body mount.
- A rash vest is a great idea.
- On cooler days a wetsuit might be a good idea for smaller children as some of the rides had quite chilly water.
We visited in August 2023 when Pip was 11.
