Grinchmas Afternoon Tea Sightseeing Bus Tour with Brigit’s Bakery, London

What to expect:

Brigit’s Bus afternoon teas are a chance to experience traditional afternoon tea on a vintage route master bus whilst seeing some of the sights of London. The Grinchmas bus tour has all the fun of a Brigit’s bakery bus with the added fun of a Grinch theme and Christmas themed food.

As it is a Christmas tour it comes with crackers, Christmas music and a fun quiz to join in with. The route takes about 90 minutes and takes in some of the main sights of London with audio description so that you know what you are looking at.

The menu:

The menu is very similar to the other Brigit’s Bakery buses with a Christmas and green twist to it. The food is delicious and there are also options to have a vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and halal version of the tea.

Warm scones are served during the tea and towards the end of the tour boxes are brought around so that you can take any leftovers away with you. Hot drinks are served in a reusable cup which you can also take home with you.

Is it child friendly?

It is definitely child-friendly although has a lower age limit of 5 years old. The bus is a relaxed environment and there is an optional quiz to take part in a quiz to win the opportunity to pick a Christmas song to be played. There are no toilets on the bus which is something you might want to bear in mind if you have young children.

Dress Code:

There is no dress code for the bus and Christmas attire is highly encouraged.

Location:

We boarded The Grinchmas Bus from inside Victoria Coach station although there are other alternate starting points.
