A post storm Amy autumn walk

Last week’s adventure wasn’t even a micro adventure, more nano in size!

After a very busy week at work and then starting the weekend by hunkering down in preparation for storm Amy, it turned out that the un-hunkering part was quite a difficult thing to motivate yourself to do.

So I forced myself to leave the house for an autumnal walk. The first half was fine, took some photos, all lovely. The second half involved walking back past the house to walk down to the river where the littlest cat found me and insisted in coming with me. I ended up carrying her for a bit which she was perfectly happy with even when we spotted some dogs. She then decided she wanted to run home next to me, walking along all the walls like a toddler and pouncing on me like an over excited puppy! So if you are wondering how autumn is going, well I’ve just dug the cat harness out and am considering training her to be my walking companion!
