Hotel Blau Parc – San Antonio, Ibiza

Did I do any research before booking this hotel, nope! What I actually did was google ‘trips to Ibiza with teens’, read a post by North East Family Fun and then book the hotel.

It turned out that the Hotel Blue Parc was an excellent recommendation from them and we had an amazing weekend.

The Hotel

The hotel is 4* and is a medium sized hotel in San Antonio, Ibiza. It has beach views and a pool over looking the sea as well as a roof top pool.

It has a clean, beach vibe with some lovely little touches like the fact the room numbers are painted on pebbles outside each room.

We had a double room with street view which was perfect for Pip and I but you can also opt for a junior suite or a superior junior suite.

Our room came with a double bed that could also be two singles. A sofa and sitting area, wall mounted TV, hot drink making facilities and a fridge and microwave.

We had air conditioning and a balcony that over looked the street with outside seating.

The bathroom was a lovely size with a huge shower.

Pool towels are provided in your room and can be changed at reception.

The Location

The hotel is located at the end of the San Antonio strip on Caló des Moro beach. We found it to be a brilliant spot as it was walkable distance to where we wanted to be but not too busy or noisy. There was also plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.

It took us about 20 minutes to walk along the sea front in to San Antonio harbour but there are plenty of restaurants nearby if you don’t want go that far including Cafe Mambo and Cafe del Mar.

The hotel is almost on the beach so perfectly located if you prefer a sea swim. It is also positioned perfectly for watching the famous Ibiza sunsets,

Food and Drink

The hotel serves a buffet style breakfast in the mornings. There is the standard pastries, fruit, cereals and bread as well as hot food and an omelette station. There is also a station which has a rotating theme, while we were there the were sweets and cakes and oysters and champagne.

During the day there are pool bars both at the main pool and roof top pool serving drinks and light snacks. We went for a hummus plate and mocktails which were delicious!

There are several bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity and then a wider selection slightly further afield.

The Spa

There is a small Spa onsite, this has a jet pool, a cold water pool and a sauna. They also offer treatments. Guests of the hotel get one access to the spa per stay and the Sea View Suites get one access per day which need to be pre booked. There are times when children can use the spa. We didn’t try the spa on this stay.

Getting there

We booked a transfer to the hotel through Welcome Pickups because our flight arrived past midnight and I didn’t want to mess around with taxis. We took the airport bus on the way back to the airport which went from the bus station and was really easy.

Our Thoughts

We had a really lovely stay and the hotel was perfect for what we wanted. As we were there towards the end of the season the hotel was fairly quiet, we didn’t have to wait for a table at breakfast and there were plenty of beds around the pool. We did find the pool a little too cold to swim in but did swim in the sea.

The staff were all friendly, especially the front desk who checked us in quickly when we arrived in the early hours of the morning. The other guests were a mixture of all ages so we didn’t feel like we were staying in a party hotel.

We’d definitely stay again, we had such a lovely relaxing weekend.

We visited at the end of September 2025 when Pip was 13.
