Light Night and Community Cinema

This week adventures have been thin on the ground. Mainly due to working every evening and one of the weekend days (these adventures won’t pay for themselves). That and all my free time being taken up by getting Pip and Andy ready to go off on their own adventure. There has been the odd one or two nano adventure though.

Firstly I managed to see a few of the Leeds Light Night installations on the preview night. The preview night is designed to be a quieter night for those who need less people or easier access and is only usually a handful of the installations. I have to say though it is so much nicer standing in Millennium Square watching the illuminations on the Civic hall without a few thousand other people.

Secondly I gate crashed my Mum and Dad’s date night at their local village hall. Their village has an events team who put on regular cinema nights and this time it was ‘Yesterday’ accompanied by a vegetarian lasagne from the local pub and homemade garlic bread.

So after an incredibly hectic week, this week I am going solo (with the cats for company) as Pip and Andy have abandoned me for a golf week in Spain. I’ve a few things planned for my week including crossing my fingers that the weather is good enough for a decent walk.
