This week all the adventure was condensed in to the weekend. I don’t know about anyone else but these dark nights mean I am ready for bed at about 7pm and have no energy for mid week adventures.
On Saturday we celebrated my dad’s birthday with an amazing lunch at The Square and Compass in North Rigton. I ate so much that I needed an afternoon nap afterwards and it was so lovely to have nearly all the family together. Any meal with a baked camembert and good company is always a win!

Sunday we walked off the huge lunch from the day before by doing the Harewood circular walk again (the other way round this time). This time with adventure friends for a long over due catch up and a bit of future adventure planning.

It’s definitely getting more wintery and colder and the leaves are nearly all off the trees. We managed to catch the only day this week when it didn’t rain and it was fairly ok under foot albeit a bit muddy.
Huge lunch walked off we then refueled with another huge lunch at Cromwell’s in Collingham who do a fabulous Sunday roast!

Also don’t hate us, but Pip put up the Christmas decorations this weekend!!
