The last week of school before Christmas and everyone is shattered!
Unfortunately as far as work Christmas adventures go, it was a week of mostly sitting in my car due to work being cancelled. In the end I started taking the camper van so that at least I would have someone to work/ have a nap!!
On Friday we went to see A Christmas carol at Leeds Playhouse! I loved that it was set in the Yorkshire Mills with a Yorkshire twist and the dancing baubles were amazing. I fear that Pip is going to be severely disappointed when she comes to reading it for GCSE and the dancing baubles are missing!!
On Saturday I dragged Pip out to stand in the dark to watch the Knaresborough Tractor run go past. The tractors were all brilliantly decorated, hopefully they raised lots of money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
We wrapped up the week with a Christmas Party for our NCT group! Almost 14 years and we are still going strong!
And the final night of the week was spent as usual being supervised in the bath by these two buffoons who seem to think that I need accompanying/ supervising/ entertaining or all of the above!
