Unfortunately when your birthday is on a Tuesday and you have a full day of work and Guides, it doesn’t make for a very exciting birthday! Which is just an excuse to insist on celebrations being spread out over the following couple of weeks!
Birthday week involved a very delicious Indian takeaway, sitting outside Flip Out in Leeds while Pip went to an event and working.
I did manage to persuade Andy to have an adventure with me on Sunday while Pip was playing golf. We had a day in Helmsley, eating some delicious food, pottering around the shops and visiting the castle. The castle doesn’t look very big from outside but is huge inside with various buildings, tunnels and areas to explore.
