Despite the fact that it feels like the rest of the UK are already on their Easter break, we are not!! However we are not going to let that stop us from having fun.
Pip and I started the week off strong with a trip to the cinema with our free monthly tickets. We have a subscription to something and it comes with free tickets, I have no idea what it is, Andy is in charge of that! Pip and I went to see The Magic Faraway Tree and loved it!! It was just different enough from the books that you didn’t sit there thinking “well this didn’t happen in the book” but it kept all the magic of the original. In summary, Pip and I are now going to move to a field and grow tomatoes and I cried at the end!
Guides this week brought out our inner cake decorators with some bunny buns!!
The Easter holidays finally arrived so we started with another fantastic meal at The Carpenters Arms pub in Felixkirk rounded off with a lovely walk just outside Helmsley down a random track and through a gate where my Mum and Dad’s dogs could spend sometime off lead.

The week finished with the long drive to Gatwick airport!! I think my passport was feeling completely neglected sitting in the draw and watching Pip and Andy’s passports come and go but it’s finally time for it to have another adventure!
