Dellas Boutigue hotel is in Kalambaka, one of the two small towns that provide accommodation for visitors to the Meteora area of Greece. Dellas Boutique is set slightly on the outskirts of Kalambaka (technically in Kastraki) so has great views and is very peaceful. It was a couple of minutes drive out of town or a 10 to 15 minute walk.
There are a number of different rooms to choose from. We had a family room with a double and single bed and a lovely balcony over looking the hills.
Our room was warm, comfortable and very clean and was perfect as a base for exploring the area.
We couldn’t praise the staff at the hotel enough, from recommending restaurants to ordering pizza for us they were always there to help. We felt really looked after throughout our whole stay.
Food
Breakfast is served in the seating area next to reception, there was a good selection of hot and cold food, juices and hot drinks. There is also an option to have breakfast in your room.
Around the Hotel
A couple of minutes walk from the hotel is the Panorama Restaurant, this was recommended by the hotel on the day we arrived. The food here was delicious and the service excellent. As the name implies there is an excellent view from the restaurant and they have an outdoor seating area as well as a glass conservatory for cooler weather.
Kalambaka is about a 10 minute walk down the hill, here there is a huge selection of restaurants and bars, as well as supermarkets, bakeries and pharmacies, everything you could need. There are a number of different take aways restaurants in the town which will deliver to the hotel, the hotel has a range of menus at reception and will call and order for you.
