We usually stay at a Premier Inn near Kings Cross but at the time of booking they were all out of our budget so we looked a bit further out and went for the Premier Inn London Canary Wharf in Westferry.

The Hotel:
The hotel is laid out over 26 floors with the top 4 floors being premier plus rooms. We had a room on the 8th floor with a double bed and a single bed for Pip. As is always the case with Premier Inns it was very clean and comfortable and it was everything that we needed for a comfortable stay.
The room comes with air conditioning, a hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities in the form of a kettle and mugs, a TV and plenty of electrical sockets.
There were also extra pillows in the room.
The ground floor has self check in, reception, a bar, toilets and vending machines. The 1st floor has the restaurant where breakfast is served.

The food:
Breakfast
A breakfast buffet is served in the main restaurant every morning with a choice of continental or cooked breakfasts. The continental breakfast includes a selection of cereals, fruit and yogurt and a selection of bread and pastries. The cooked breakfast includes everything and also your choice of sausage, bacon, beans, eggs and hash browns (they also has vegetarian sausages and bacon).
There are also juices on offer (orange, apple or cranberry) and a coffee machine and selection of teas and fruit teas.
We ate breakfast in the restaurant on Saturday morning and the bar on Sunday morning as they were very busy. The food was the same in both places although we found things were much slower to be refilled downstairs in the bar.

Dinner
Dinner is available in the hotel bar or can be ordered to your room. The dinner menu is available here.
Accessibility:
The hotel has accessible rooms which are wheelchair accessible.
Around the hotel:
The exit from the DLR is approximately 10 steps from the main door of the hotel (Pip counted) so we didn’t get to explore the area at all. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Getting there:
There is no guest parking at the hotel but there is car parking offsite at a fee. The nearest tube station is Westferry station on the DLR which is right next door to the hotel, the Elizabeth Line is about 11 minutes walk away.
Left Luggage:
The hotel has a left luggage room and will store luggage on your check in or check out day.
